As we've had temperatures in the UK this week hotter than in Barbados (33 degrees on Monday) I finally feel summer has arrived - yipppeee!! This week's Random photo's are things I love about summer...

Summer reminds me of the beach and spending every afternoon there body surfing. So so so much fun. I can't wait for it again!

I love Pimm's! Yum. Hmmm I think of beaches, bikinis and floppy hats. BBQ's, kayaking, friends and family gatherings.
What changes here in the summer is the heat. A lot of people wear shorts year round on the streets. Altho when it rains they carry a umbrella. It gets really hot, like 90 to 100 inland. That's not very far inland either. But I love the fruits that come with summer.
Cherries-YES! And those ice cream cones are so cute! It's like couture ice cream! Great images, Adele!

I miss Pimms!!! Here in Milan, the big summer drink is Spritz, ie white wine, sparkling water and campari.. so this has become my substitute Pimms ;((

OMGGG that ice cream looks delightful! It's been mega hot here too (in Ontario, Canada) but some cool summer treats are helping to cope with it ;)

I wanted to tell you that 33 degrees was close to freezing and than realized that it wasn't in F. I've gotten out of the habit of stating temperature in C. :-) This makes me miss Europe and home. :-)
