Jumper Dress

My jumper dress is one of my favourite pieces in my casual wardrobe right now. It's so comfortable to wear, works well with ballerinas or booties, but looks equally great worn with tights & boots when the weather starts to turn even colder. I wore this outfit earlier in the week before the UK weather decided to have a mini heatwave - just as I was embracing Autumn!! Good job I haven't totally packed away my summer wardrobe :)

Happy Birthday Missy!

Missy at 8 weeks old

Missy turned 6 years old this week! So she's reaching middle age for a Shepherd. How did we celebrate? A group dog walk so she could play with her buddies! Missy is such a playful dog & is never happier than with a ball or tuggy in her mouth. She loves the beach & going for a swim or paddle. She also adores the local milkman when she's out on her morning walks...may have something to do with the custard creams he keeps giving her!!!!

Dinner Party Menu: Starter - Antipasti

Saturday night we had our friends Matt & Lou round for a meal. My theme was Italian, which is one of my favourites & the dishes I chose for my menu are a great way to show off your culinary skills...and the best bit? You don't have to spend all day slaving in the kitchen!

Today's post will cover the starter - the main course & dessert recipes will be posted over the next couple of Wednesdays, so don't forget to look out for them & you will have a complete, easy to make 3 course meal!

Starter: Antipasti

mixed olives with chilli, sunblush tomatoes, chargrilled artichokes & ricotta stuffed cherry peppers 

Parma ham, Milano salami & Napoli salami

warm fresh black olive ciabatta



If there's one thing I love about Italian food it is Antipasti. It's a great dish for entertaining as it's varied, colourful & not too filling to start with.

Union Jack

I couldn't wait to use my newest clutch & some autumn sunshine at the weekend provided me with the perfect opportunity! It made a real change to wear silver too, as my wardrobe & accessories seem to naturally lean towards gold lately. I have to say I felt very patriotic going out holding the Union Jack!!!

London Fashion Weekend

Had loads of fun last Thursday at London Fashion Weekend. The event followed the close of London Fashion Week & was a treasure trove of clothing, shoes, accessories & beauty products...a fashionistas dream!! I especially loved the Vintage section for it's atmosphere (like I'd stepped back in time), as well as all the gorgeous vintage bags & jewellery. Here's a taste of what the event was like...

Very Berry

I love autumn days like these when it's a little bit chilly (it was about 10 degrees C in the morning) but the sun is still shining. I have an absolute crush on my berry jeans - there were so many ways I could have styled them, so apologies in advance, cos I think you're going to be seeing a lot of them in future outfit posts! Todays weather lent itself perfectly to wearing my fur vest with them.
