Pancakes

by Adele

Shrove Tuesday...
Yesterday was officially Pancake Day, so of course I couldn't resist making some pancakes! I've posted American pancakes on the blog before here. English pancakes use a thinner batter mix & are flatter, lighter in texture...they can be served sweet or savory.

My personal preference is sweet & I'm kind of traditional with my fillings/sauces to serve with them. My absolute favourite is honey (I adore honey!) & lemon.

Pancakes couldn't be easier to make, but for any of my followers who have never made them before, I've found a great website here, which, as well as a step by step guide, gives you great problem solving tips.

And the best bit about making pancakes...tossing them (& hoping they land back in the pan!!!)

served with fresh lemon juice, honey & a dusting of icing sugar

Enjoy!

YUMMM! These pancakes are definitely thinner than what we have in US but that is why Europeans are more trim than Americans lol!
