Diamonds On My Toes

I don't often go in for nail art, but if I do it has to be classy!

I've previously applied little gems to my toe nails when wearing a French Manicure (how to here), which is a really nice way to wear your nails for a special event, or for summer holiday.

Wondering how the effect would look on a solid colour nail I decided to give it a go...

I used nailimpact nail art which is available at Boots (sorry couldn't find an online link to the product)

Choose your nail colour...I went for one of my current favourites Chanel May

 

Paint your nails with your chosen colour & wait until completely dry

 

 take your sheet of diamantes & choose size (I've used the smaller size)

remove a diamante from the sheet & place onto the tip of your nail 

alternatively, slide the diamante off the sheet onto the nail, which is slightly less fiddly! 

 continue applying, moving across the nail in a straight line

 

to seal, press down to ensure the diamante is securely attached & paint with clear top coat

Et voila! Pretty, classy looking nails.
