Duty Free Essentials

by Adele

Hello Lovelies!
After spending a fabulous week in Madeira, I'm feeling totally refreshed, re-charged & excited to be back blogging!!
For me, any travel plans MUST include some Duty Free shopping...it's one of the things I love about airports & probably the only thing I miss about my previous job...I used to come back with some great Duty Free hauls from my business trips!

Here are some of my beauty essentials I swear by day in day out...

Prada Candy EDP
...my absolute favourite scent right now. Previously blogged about here

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream
Did you know that this product was first developed as a salve for Elizabeth Arden's race horses legs? I swear by it as a great skin saver & use daily on any minor skin irritations, clears the odd spot up a treat...also great on chapped lips! No wonder one is sold every 2 minutes in the UK...if you haven't tried it, it's a MUST.

Clarins Creme Jeunesse Des Mains
This is pricey as handcreams go, (I always buy one whenever I'm at an airport) but totally worth it in my opinion for the benefits it delivers to both hands & nails. I have been using it for years & love its non greasy, light yet deeply intense nourishing formula.

Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfector
I'd recommend this product to anyone with enlarged/uneven pores, this really is a dream product as it evens them out a treat! I apply directly after moisturising & before my foundation. I use Invisible Light, but there are 4 shades to choose from.

Chanel Stylo Des Yeux
I always used to be a fan of Chanel's liquid eyeliner until I had my Xmas makeover with the Chanel make-up artist, who introduced me to this product. What I love about it, is it's blendable, so can create a great, softer smokey eye or a bolder line. It has great staying power too being waterproof! I use 10 Ebene (black), but there are various colours to choose from.

And more shopping when we arrived...
Once we got to Madeira...another bonus was that they had a Zara in Funchal. Well, you can imagine how excited I was!!
I ended up buying a gorgeous summer scarf in pastel lemon & another pair of coloured denim, this time in pink...I love the cute zip detail down the back of the ankle. I hadn't seen either product in the UK so far this season (this of course was my justification for buying!!!!)

Finally, a huge thank you to all of you who stopped by & commented whilst I was away. I hope you enjoyed the posts & I will catch up with you all shortly.

Happy Monday Lovelies

I love Duty Free shopping, I always feel like I just have to pick up a few things and take advantage of it.

I always get a perfume. I'd like to try the blendable eye pencil, I'm need of one of those badly.

I love the pink trousers and the lemon scarf. Perfect spring items!!

Ooh you went to Madeira! Which part? The bf and I went there a few years ago, it's beautiful. I love duty free too - I stocked up on Benefit on the way to Paris but had TOO much to carry already by the time I was flying back to NZ! ;)
