I've often worn my hair in a side braid, seen here & here, but have recently been on the lookout for an easy to learn, "how to" guide for a fish tail braid, which seems to be bang on trend right now, with various celebs rocking the look.
I found this video how to on YouTube really easy to follow (excuse the intro!!), so couldn't wait to have a go myself.
And here's my effort - not so good...I always struggle with braids as my hair is so fine - the braid ends up looking really small, but hey, practice makes perfect!

I love fish tail braids! Just keep practicing it really gets easier. What works very well for me is to use dry shampoo, really spray it all over, brush through a bit and then very loosely start braiding. And after applying the elastic you make the braid even looser with your fingers, just pull on both sides!

I used to plait my daughters traditional and french style but love this look. I would have to cheat with an extension!
