| Peplum Shell Tops - Topshop £24 each |
I've been on a quest for quite a while to find the perfect peplum top, ever since I saw Aimee wearing this H&M Trend peplum top on Song Of Style.
I searched high & low for this top, but to no avail! So when the lovely Laura from Styled By Laura featured the Topshop peplum tank in this post, I knew it was the destined to be in my closet!
Only trouble is, when they arrived they were too small (not sure if it's my swimmers shoulders or Topshop's sizing!!). So I've re-ordered them in the next size up, which thankfully were quick to arrive.
Peplum, as a style, is one of the most flattering shapes to wear, cinching in at the waist, with the peplum draping nicely over the hips.
Have you bought into Peplums?
This afternoon is my Grandmothers funeral, who sadly died at 96 years of age (hence the need for the black peplum).
R.I.P Nan.

yes peplums are so lovely! but i haven't bought pieces with peplums simce i'm afraid it won't be that flattering with my petite body!

I used to wear peplum in the 80s and loved it. You're right it is very flattering. I've yet to buy any this season though. I feel like I need to actually go shopping to try pieces on and I haven't had the time lately. I must make time! :)
