Following my post on Tattoos, (which is the 4th most popular post read this month), I received a lot of emails asking me more about the temporary tattoos I used in my post, as well as several requests for a "How To" post, so here goes...
About Fake Tattoos...
I get my temporary body art from a website called Fake Tattoos. The company originates from Scandinavia & are the number one website in Europe. They sell their tattoos worldwide, working with several designers to give exclusivity on design.
Safety...
As with anything I put on my skin, I want to know that it's totally safe to use, so have comfort in the fact that all temporary tattoos from Fake Tattoos are FDA tested & 100% non toxic.
Application...
Apply tattoo to clean dry skin, by removing the plastic cover & pressing the tattoo, design facing down, firmly on chosen area of skin
...using a wet towel or flannel, hold over the tattoo for at least 30 seconds
...gently peel away to reveal your temporary tattoo & rinse with water
Et voila!
Longevity...
The tattoos are designed to last 3-10 days depending on skin type. I would also add that it depends upon placement of the tattoo. For example, the Forever Young tattoo I applied to my arm lasted 10 days, however the Angels Wings on the back of my neck only lasted 4 days.
Let's see how long these tattoos last...I'll keep you posted.

Aww cute, not sure how I would look since i have seven real ones, but the back ankle tattoo is soooooo cute! I'd get that for real!
I'm more of a real tattoo person, but these are such an amazing idea!

I love fake tattoos, Im far to scared to get a real one but hopefully one day if i can pluck up the courage. Will have to check out the site as it looks great, might buy a few for the summer!
