Bonfire Night...on Monday night we celebrated Bonfire Night by entertaining a few friends. My menu centred around typical Bonfire Night fodder, with these delicious & easy to make Nutty Toffee Apples for a fun dessert.
I followed this recipe - the key to making a good toffee is using a jam thermometer to ensure the mixture reaches 140 degrees celcius prior to coating the apples.

To keep Missy & Hugo safe & stress free from the fireworks we remained indoors, with just a few small sparklers. Altogether it was a lovely evening!
