Sunday.

 Enjoyed a lovely day with my parents on Sunday, so I chose a more casual look to wear at home.  Actually, I couldn't wait to wear my cyan coloured denim! My striped knit, last worn here seemed the perfect top to wear with it. I also decided to test drive my sandals out round the house - I love that they give me height yet I feel like I'm wearing flats!!

Luckily, before my parents arrived we had a few minutes to nip outside, brave the cold & take a few shots.

Thought I'd kick the week off with some new purchases...

River Island Black Scarf Print Trousers £30

I was a teenie bit unsure about these scarf print trousers when I saw them on the hanger...that is, until I tried them on & fell head over heels for them! A must have for the season ahead, they're already selling fast online.

Topshop Moto Baxter Skinny Jeans £40

Continuing with my love of Topshop Baxter jeans, my newest colour is this beatiful light cobalt. I may as well apologise now, cos I know you'll be seeing a lot of them in future outfit posts!

River Island Black Wedge Sandals £35

 These Prada inspired wedges look uber stylish on. I've mainly bought them for nights out. They also come in a gorgeous orange which may become a summer treat later on...we'll see!

Sugar Rush

As much as I love neons, I've recently been embracing candy colours, mint being one of my favourites. I bought the blouse while shopping with my Mum...I fell in love with the colour, the neckline, the shape & fit. 

To compliment the mint, I'm loving sugary pastel colours on my nails. I already had all the nail varnishes in my collection, so it was just a case of experimenting...hope you love them as much as I do!

Spicy Prawn Stir Fry

As it was Chinese New Year on Monday, I thought I'd cook a Chinese inspired dish for our evening meal. I actually cook a lot of stir fries, as they're so quick, tasty & healthy...a great way to get your 5-a-day!

I used this tried & tested recipe, which gives an authentic flavour, cooks in minutes & is absolutely delicious!

Those of you that follow me on Twitter will know that last week I went for a day shopping with my Mum & had lunch at Jamie Olivers' restaurant. This top was one of my buys that day. It's simple in design but contains one of the seasons key colours: acid lime. 

I also bought some more patterned tights...I love how they really make a fashion statement. In my opinion Marks & Spencers have the best range of fashion tights on the High Street right now...go check em out!
