Last Thursday I was lucky enough to head down to Somerset House, London to attend LFWE, thanks to iFabbo. LFWE is a huge 4 day event open to the general public, which always takes place directly after the close of London Fashion Week.
The evening kicked off with a few drinks & canapes in the Chombard Champagne Bar, where I met up with Meg, from iFabbo & the other bloggers also attending.
Then we took our seats for the main event of the evening, the Catwalk Show, which was for me, the most exciting part of the night...there was a real buzz!!
The show featured 3 key designers: Holly Fulton, Antipodium & Jasper Conran, as well as presenting 2 trend overviews for SS12: Primrose & Game On.
Holly Fulton
The overriding theme was soft pastel hues & contemporary bold prints for the girl that likes to dress up with a luxe feel.
Antipodium
Geoffrey J Finch had created a range with modern twists on classic shapes, combined with richer colours.
Jasper Conran
Conran's collection, in my opinion reflected his 20 years in the industry. Some stunning brights & wearable summer prints were some of the key pieces in the range.
After the Catwalk Show we had a mooch around some of the vendor stands, where I had to restrain myself from taking advantage of all the heavily discounted prices....or have some serious explaining to do to the bank!!
And finally...The Holly Fulton Goodie Bag I was given (normally £8)...
Thanks so much to Meg at iFabbo for such a fabulous evening
