Roasted Chicken Breast With Pancetta, Leeks & Thyme

Sunday Roast
Made this for our evening meal a couple of Sunday's ago. It has to be the easiest dish to make as you just bung everything into a bowl, wrap the chicken in the pancetta, arrange on the top of the leeks & whack it in the oven for 30 minutes!
It's also a quick alternative to cooking a whole roast bird.
So, for those of my followers who tell me they can't cook, give this recipe a try & impress your loved ones!!

served with roast potatoes, roast parsnips, balsamic & honey glazed red cabbage

Do let me know if you try it out!

This is what I'd splash the cash on!!!!
How about you?

I'm totally lusting after the Victoria Beckham dress. I have a wedding to go to at the end of March & this little beauty would be perfect. One slight problem, it's waaaayyyy out of my price range, but a girl can dream!

London Fashion Weekend

23rd Feb 2012
Last Thursday I was lucky enough to head down to Somerset House, London to attend LFWE, thanks to iFabbo.
LFWE is a huge 4 day event open to the general public, which always takes place directly after the close of London Fashion Week.

The evening kicked off with a few drinks & canapes in the Chombard Champagne Bar, where I met up with Meg, from iFabbo & the other bloggers also attending.

Then we took our seats for the main event of the evening, the Catwalk Show, which was for me, the most exciting part of the night...there was a real buzz!!
The show featured 3 key designers: Holly Fulton, Antipodium & Jasper Conran, as well as presenting 2 trend overviews for SS12: Primrose & Game On.

Holly Fulton
The overriding theme was soft pastel hues & contemporary bold prints for the girl that likes to dress up with a luxe feel.

Antipodium
Geoffrey J Finch had created a range with modern twists on classic shapes, combined with richer colours.

Jasper Conran
Conran's collection, in my opinion reflected his 20 years in the industry. Some stunning brights & wearable summer prints were some of the key pieces in the range.

After the Catwalk Show we had a mooch around some of the vendor stands, where I had to restrain myself from taking advantage of all the heavily discounted prices....or have some serious explaining to do to the bank!!

And finally...The Holly Fulton Goodie Bag I was given (normally £8)...

Thanks so much to Meg at iFabbo for such a fabulous evening

Favourites...
It doesn't matter how many clothes I buy, I always have a group of favourites that I can't stop wearing. This is definitely my favourite skirt right now...not only because it's mint (you already know how much I love this colour!), but because it's fresh, floaty & the asymmetric hem is so now. My snakeskin messenger bag has also made it's way into my favourites!! I'm adoring the versatility of it & the freshness it brings to an outfit, either as a clutch or across the body.

I was wearing...
skirt Zara TRF (new season), vest Topshop, cardi Oasis, bag Topshop (new season), heels New Look, sunnies Chanel, necklace AllSaints, earrings & bracelet Tiffany & Co, ball bracelet Gucci, ring Hermes, watch Rolex, nail varnish Chanel

London Fashion Weekend was AMAZING! As I got back late last night, I haven't had chance to go through all the photos, so I'll post about the event on Monday!

Tomorrow, Ian & I are jetting off to Madeira for a week...really looking forward to exploring the island & some warmer weather. I've lined up some lovely posts for you guys while I'm away & will look forward to reading your comments.

Have a great week Lovelies
