Chanel Coco Blue

 So happy it's finally part of my collection!

Those of you that follow my blog regularly will know that I have quite a collection of Chanel nail varnishes. 

You can imagine my slight panick when I tried to purchase the new colour Coco Blue in all my local Chanel make-up stockists only to find it had sold out - aaaahhh!

Luckily my sister Nicola was also out shopping in Nottingham & after a quick phonecall to her, she came up trumps! 

The colour is part of the Les Jeans de Chanel collection. I also like the look of Blue Boy!

Can't wait to start wearing...it's the perfect pastel blue for spring don't you think?

I can also see me incorporating it either as an accent colour or as part of a Candy Coloured mani (last seen here).

I still love colour blocking! Pink & Orange are probably my favourite colours to colourblock - have also been seeing these two colours together a lot in magazines & on the High Street with varying shades of pink.

Just Arrived...OASAP Trench

Trenches are so on trend & as colour is so key this season, I decided to veer away from the traditional beige trench & opted for this gorgeous rose colour (I'm a girly girl at heart!).

Couldn't have come at a better time, with all the rain we've been having these last few days!

 Looking forward to wearing it with all my spring pastels! It's also the perfect shade to wear with my scarf print trousers (last seen here)!

Bloomin Brilliant Brownies

Recently, I've been trying to be good & cut out chocolate. The result is that I've been in desperate need of a chocolate fix! And so yesterday I caved in! 

Chocolate brownies are uncomplicated & quick to make, so are perfect for an impromptu naughty treat! I can recommend either this recipe (which I followed today), or this recipe with raspberries (which I've made in the past).

The secret to a good homemade chocolate brownie is not to overcook them - they should be soft & springy on the outside & gooey on the inside...best served warm.

Hopefully you can see the lovely gooey middle I was talking about!

Served with a dollop of creme fraiche, topped off with some orange zest.

Guipur Shorts

Don't let the sunny photos fool you! We've had a horrendous week of rain here in the UK, with temperatures much cooler. As I was dying to wear my new lace guipur shorts, there was only one thing for it - wearing them with tights & boots...where there's a will there's a way!!

White Nails

Been feeling the love for white nails recently...especially with a coat of my Chanel Mat Top Coat to finish them off.

Next weekend I'm going to my nieces Christening - very excited about being her God Mother!! I'm planning on wearing my white Zara dress (seen here), with my new Werelse for Mango Touch wedges & clutch (seen here), so the white nails will be the perfect finishing touch to the whole look!

Printed Pants

Zara strikes again! I didn't need another pair of printed pants, as I already have these floral trousers & these scarf print trousers, but hey, that's the difference between want (or rather got to have, as was the case with these trousers) & need!!!!

When I first posted about the trousers here I received a lot of positive comments from you...so what do you think to them on?
