With all the recent snow (which has thankfully disappeared now), there were many nights of just staying in & cosying up with plenty of hot drinks to keep warm.
As a special treat, one night I made us an Irish Coffee, following this recipe.
Taste wise, it satisfied in every way, however I struggled to get the cream to separate fully from the coffee, which was somewhat disappointing. The trick is to pour the cream really slowly over the back of a spoon...I obviously wouldn't make a very good Barista!
