Happy Thursday Lovelies!
I've been adding new pieces to my AW13 transitional buys I posted about here, which together form the basis of my AW13 wardrobe. I now feel I'll be in a position to just "cherry pick" a few other key pieces I've got my beady eye on.

Tartan is a massive trend for AW13, so it was a no brainer to add a couple of key pieces. The Zara trousers & Mango shirt instantly caught my eye & are great for adding colour to your closet. I wasn't planning on wearing the two together, but seeing them laid out like this I'm kinda liking the check clash!

...was around last AW & has got even bigger for AW13, this season with more pannelling & stitch detail. The Zara trousers I bought are an excellent example of this. Love the idea of mixing black & white leather together to move on monochrome.

Key Seasons Colours: Mustard & Navy
Mustard especially is a colour you should be buying into for autumn, there's already so much of it on the High Street. It pairs so well with black, navy & grey so it's a versatile colour to have in your wardrobe.
Navy is having a bit of a re-surgence. It's a great alternative to wearing black.

A couple of lightweight layering pieces for everyday errand running. The grey sweat will look fab over the tartan check shirt. Loved the print on the satin top encompassing both florals & baroque.
Statement necklaces are still huge (quite literally!) as we move into AW. I loved the smokey grey glass crystal flowers & beads on this Zara beauty. If you follow me on instagram (@intotheblonde) you'll know that the first necklace I ordered arrived broken in bits, but thankfully the second one arrived in one piece!
|suede messenger bag Zara|
This blinged up messenger bag caught my eye - the shaping & buckle idea are inspired by the Givenchy Obsedia Messenger. I tend not to buy into High Street bags so much now, preferring to save & invest in a Designer bag each season.
As you know I have my beloved Chanel 2.55 jumbo which I love to use, but quite honestly there are occasions that do not warrant using a Chanel ie going to the supermarket, so this little bag kind of fills that gap.
What I love about my purchases, is I'll be able to mix & match a great deal to create different outfits.
