Easy Entertaining

Wednesday, 28 August 2013

Happy Wednesday Lovelies!

Today I'm showing you my cheats way of entertaining when friends or family drop by to say "Hi".
The majority of the time I'll always offer something I've lovingly slaved over myself like Goats Cheese Truffles, or Biscotti, but there's the odd occasion when I don't have the time & have to cheat my way to putting something delicious & presentable on the table out of a packet or jar!

I'm also showing you, what I think is THE coolest way of serving them...on my new Chubboard by Chubba Art & Design. Can you believe this actually used to be a skateboard...yes, you read right!
Chubba Art & Design hand craft each of their funky coloured food serving boards from an old recycled skateboard.
You can read Charlie's story here to learn how the boards evolved.

almond stuffed olives

Each board is produced using a Canadian Maple Wood skateboard & made hygienically food safe in the finishing process. The end result is a waterproof, easily wipeable serving board.

Personally, I thought it was such a cool way of serving food & so far it's been a great talking point around the table! I love that each piece is unique.

So What's On The Board...

Milano Salami, Prosciutto Crudo
Caper Berries
Griddled Halloumi with lemon garnish
Pumpkin Falafel
Chargrilled Artichokes, Peppers & Sun Dried Tomatoes

The boards come in a range of colours & sizes - I went for a lime green coloured medium sized board.
Available to order here.

Thanks to Charlie for my super cool serving board!

Have a yummy Wednesday Lovelies
