|some of my favourite designs from the Givenchy SS14 Ready To Wear Collection|
Happy Monday Lovelies!
Thought I'd kick off this week with a new feature post - Designer Spotlight. It's kind of my ode to the Fashion Houses that are really inspiring me - not only with their catwalk collections, but their iconic, must have pieces that personify the brand.
First up is Givenchy, a brand that was never on my radar until Ricardo Tisci transformed it from classic to edgy, with some of the most desirable, lust worthy pieces to covet, which always feature high up on my Wish List.
For me, shopping Givenchy has never been easier (in my dreams, that is!!). Why? Because their designs are so wearable, I love how they draw the eye in, always creating a statement, as well as pushing the boundaries (think Rottweiler).
To illustrate this, I've pulled together some collections that I'm totally lusting after right now...
Aaah the Rottie....he's been around a while, but I'm loving how Givenchy keep refreshing one of their most reckognisible, edgy designs - this time with sequins (and you know how I love a bit of bling!) & chiffon.
You'll already know my love for Givenchy's covetable sharks tooth collection when I first posted about their edgy shark tooth earrings here & included their bracelet in my post here. I could have chosen so many pieces to feature in this section! I adore the newest earring to this collection, the silver bracelet is still on my wish list. I especially love how they've moved their accessories on by using the sharks tooth on zip pulls.
Givenchy are masters at making florals look edgy, especially on the high tops. Soooo many pieces I love in their florals, but the three I pulled together best represent their design.
As bags are one of my huge passions, I pulled together a couple of my favourite's. The Antigona bag has been one of the most desirable designer handbags on every fashionistas wish list, in so many cool "it" colours of the season.
I'm also loving how Givenchy are breaking the boundaries with new shapes to covet, such as the Pandora.
Does Givenchy inspire you as a brand? What are your favourite pieces in the collection?
Wishing you all a wonderful week!
