Happy December Lovelies!

Aside from all the obvious Christmas & New Years Eve festivities (which I adore), here are some of the things I'm looking forward to doing most this December....starting with my trip to London with my sister next weekend.

This time of year I love eating roasted chestnuts which can be bought from street vendors. There's something about them that just reminds me of winter.

I love taking the dogs out on a bright frosty day for a long walk, letting them run off lead, play, chase the leaves I kick in the air.

Sitting in front of an open fire, thawing out from my dog walks...invariably drinking one of these...

If you don't know it by now, cappucino's are my favourite hot drink. I love to warm up with one after walking the dogs, or while I'm out Christmas shopping. I have one every day!

I really enjoy the build up to Christmas & decorating my home for Christmas is one of my favourite things to do in December.

Drinking mulled wine...December is the only month of the year I drink mulled wine, probably as fresh cranberries only tend to be available in the shops during December. See my mulled wine recipe post here, if you fancy making your own this year.

Making pretty candles - I love this simple idea of using cinnamon sticks & twine to decorate my candles at home & add a more natural look & feel to my living room.

What are you looking forward to this December?

Hope it's your best December yet

Your post makes me want to bundle up in a warm colourful plaid on the couch, drinking my Kusmi tea as the light grows dim in the late afternoon. Dytique Amber scented Candles in the living room.
I often go to London between Christmas and New Year's Eve. This time, we fly to Vienna..
London is a city where you feel the Christmas vibration while it is so dull in Paris.
This post is so uplifting!Thanks

My favourite part is also drinking hot chocolate and mulled wine! And all the celebrations with colleagues, friends and family.
